Job Description
1. Associate must report on time for the assigned shift in immaculate uniform and abiding with the grooming standards and ensure that the other associates reporting on duty in the respective area are also adhering to grooming standards.
2. Associate is responsible for the keys and pagers being handed over to him / her and must ensure that they are signed in and out for.
3. Conduct briefings in respective areas / shifts
4. Handing over and taking over procedures to be followed of keys, respective areas, equipments & etc.
5. The associate is responsible for the safety and security of his / her assigned area of work and must adhere to the laid down security procedures.
6. The associate must collect the required supplies and equipment from the master stores and ensure complete accountability for their inventory in his or her area.
7. All areas assigned must be cleaned as per the laid down procedures and the aim must be to provide ‘0 defect’ product & service to our guests.
8. All rooms must be checked and serviced by 1600hrs daily except for DND, DL and refused service rooms.
9. A daily discrepancy report must be made and all discrepancies like extra beds, scanty baggage & number of occupants must be informed to the Housekeeping executive in order to ensure correct billing and control skippers.
10. All rooms must be serviced in the order specified i.e. Vacant, departures and occupied rooms, ‘Service my room’ cards must be given preference and the room attended to within 10 minutes.
11. Must ensure that adequate stocks of all guests and cleaning supplies are available on the floor pantries at all times and a proper inventory is maintained for the same.
12. All guest requests must be attended to promptly and courteously and guest needs and preferences must always be kept in mind while servicing rooms.
13. To co ordinate with engineering for maintenances of guest rooms, guest corridors and service area
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Hotel management graduate / Diplomat or graduation from regular stream courses with one to two years of experience
2. Ability to communicate freely in English.
3. A positive attitude to do the job.
