Position title : Instructional Designer

Location : Chennai



Candidate Profile -

 Should possess min of 2+ years experience in creating relevant, engaging, and interactive content for e-learning projects in the capacity of Instructional Designer.

 Should have experience in writing and reviewing for CBTs, WBTs, ILTs, and Online courses.

 Sound knowledge of instructional design models and techniques (Blooms Taxonomy, Gagne's 9 events) and experience in audience analysis; task analysis; instructional objectives analysis; structure and information mapping; assessment creation.

 Good collaborator, should able to efficiently interact and communicate with SMEs and vendors.

 Should be able to handle client calls and all client communication.

 Should also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.



Position Summary:

 Analyze training requirements and learner profile.

 Perform task and/or content analysis.

 Define learning objectives and develop the course structure.

 Design instructional and assessment strategies and create prototypes to demonstrate the strategies.

 Document instructional design-related specifications and guidelines.

 Provide inputs for designing the user interface and layout templates for online training.

 Write structured content material in a style that is audience-appropriate and adheres to the project style guide.

 Conceptualize and facilitate the production of multimedia assets, including static graphics, illustrations, animations, simulations, audio narrations, and video.

 Perform quality assurance reviews.

 Provide inputs for testing and address feedback from tests.

 Communicate with customer counterparts.

 Provide on-the-job training to Instructional Writers and review their work.

 The candidates will be expected to independently drive the design of small-scale, stand-alone, or generally less complex projects.

 They will also be responsible for reviewing deliverables developed by Instructional Writers and ensuring that the deliverables are completed to a high level of quality.

 They may play a contributing role in larger projects where multiple IDs and Instructional Writers are required. Within these projects, they will be responsible for design (such as one course within a curriculum), development, and review.

Education/Certification

Required

 Graduation/ post-graduation degree preferably in Engineering/ Literature/ Mass Communications/ Journalism with a technical qualification, such as GNIIT, MCA.

Desired

 Certificate / Course in Instructional Design

 Candidates with experience in Elearning businesses and content management companies will be given preference
